For those that don’t understand – born To Run is a book by a runner (McDougall) written after he was searching for a remedy for his injury prone running. He composes about the Tarahuamara Indians – a tribe of runners living in the canyons of Mexico.
They are very athletes – running for upwards of 50 miles at a time, injury totally free well into their senior years.
The book tells the story of McDougall’s Camiseta Kashima Antlers adventurous trip to Mexico to run with the tribe. It’s not a “How to run” Camiseta Real Betis Balompie book, however a story about runners.
I checked out born to Run about a year back as well as liked it! I started eating Chia seeds after reading it as well as mention that here.
